Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Nigeria Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Nigeria showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 18.7K and 25.2K. Its active users ranged from approximately 19.3M to 21.8M, with a noticeable peak at 21.3M in early September.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path experienced growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads increased from 3.4K to 9.5K, while active users rose from about 22K to over 31K by mid-September.

Live Earth Map: GPS Navigation saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, reaching 11K in early September. The app's active users also increased, peaking at over 30K during the same period. Revenue showed a steady climb, reaching $39 in the final week of the quarter.

World Explorer 3D: Live Map initially saw a surge in downloads with a peak at 22.8K in mid-July, but numbers dwindled to single digits by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers mirrored this trend, peaking at 20.7K before declining.

Live Street Camera View began the quarter with downloads nearing 11.3K but saw a steep decline to just over 100 by the quarter's end. Active users also decreased from 7K to just over 1K.
